This is simplest method of payment as it is all about and implemented by the Client. It is your responsibility to search, select and purchase the home health care you need from any available certified provider that you choose. Recommendations may be made to you about various providers to choose from, but the ultimate care-choice decision lies with you. Private payment is the most flexible method and allows clients the most options and future changes thereof in their chosen care package going forward.
If you intend to take this route for purchasing your care or that of a loved one at home, then we are here to support and work with you to achieve your home care goals. We will meet with you and discuss your care needs with a view to arranging for a personalised care plan and package that adequately covers your requested services. We will then carefully match your care package with the most specialised Carers best suited to supporting your care needs.
Radiant Care Services Ltd is regulated by CQC and registered with companies’ house Reg. No.11599947 Our staff are stringently vetted, highly trained, and experienced and available 24/7. Other payment methods include:
Direct payment and Local Authority payments.
Individuals that have been assessed by the Local Council as needing Social Care support will be allocated a personal budget that is managed in various ways dependent on one's capacity and circumstances. Essentially this implies that the council may directly source and pay for your care based on your allocated budget. Direct Payment clients receive these funds from the Council on a regular basis as needed to cover their Care Package. The Care Seeker has the autonomy to manage invoices received and to make payments for the Care Support that they receive. In essence you are in charge of the financial side of managing funding of your Care.
In some cases, the budget is passed on to other bodies that may be registered to manage your finances or to legally act on your behalf in matters related to your well being. You still have a significant say in who ultimately provides your care and you are always informed of any payment requests and invoices pertaining to your care as earlier provided.
Whether it be that payment is through direct payments, individual budgets or Individual Service Funds or anything in-between, sometimes the budget will not cover all your home care services as needed necessitating you or your family to top up in order to cover the budget shortfall. This may be the only way to ensure you or your loved one gets the full cover as needed.
Other payment methods include:
Local Authority payment and Private payment
Individuals assessed by the Local Council as needing Social Care support will be allocated a personal budget that is managed in various ways dependent on one's capacity and circumstances. Essentially this implies that social services will source registered care providers within your area, for you or in some cases even give you the opportunity to select from these a provider of your choice. Social Services however retains management of your budget and ultimately pays the chosen care provider for all services provided to each client on this scheme.
Just like is the case with direct payments, individual budgets, or Individual Service Funds, sometimes the budget will not cover all services as needed necessitating you or your family to top up to cover the budget shortfall. In this case, clients will pass their top-up payment to Social Service who will then pay the full invoice charge to the Care Provider. This may be the only way to ensure you or your loved one gets the full cover as needed.
A client may have the means to fully pay for their care, however they may not want the hassle of dealing with invoices and the monthly management of payments. It may be the case that there needs to be a best course of action in consideration of their best interest. There is the option to pass the client's funds through to social services who then make the necessary payments for all care services, to the service provider of the client's choice. The client pays through the social services system for their care
